About the team: Haskoning is a worldwide engineering, project management and consultancy firm, with 6,000 colleagues spread over 140 countries. Our finance department comprises over 200 finance professionals worldwide. We are a self-motivated team and continuously optimize our operations to supply the best financial support to our stakeholders and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing – drive the invoicing process and minimise working capital balances for projects within your portfolio.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Business control - Assist with project budgeting, forecasting and reviewing contract documentation.
- Finance Business Partner – Maintain a close relationship with Project Managers and support them with project control and accounting topics.
- Policies, procedures and compliance – Ensure the quality of our project administration is of the highest standard, perform internal control and compliance checks on contract documents and invoices.
- Financial control and accounting for international projects.
What we are looking for:
- A degree in accounting or a related field and/or studying towards an AAT qualification, alongside 1 + year’s work experience in a similar role.
- A basic understanding of invoicing, with practical experience.
- An independent and critical thinker with the ability to contribute as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
