Haskoning's independent environmental consultancy is recognised as a leading force in assessing, quantifying and managing the potential effects of offshore wind farms and other major developments, across the UK and beyond. Due to an extensive and growing project portfolio, including substantial amounts of impact assessment work in the offshore wind sector, we are expanding our specialist ornithology team.
We are seeking talented ornithological consultants with a strong background in EIA and HRA, who possess strong analytical skills (supporting e.g. collision risk modelling, population viability analysis), and demonstrable experience in the offshore renewables and/or other major development sectors. Stakeholder consultation is a key part of what we do, and experience with organisations such as NatureScot, Natural England, Natural Resources Wales and RSPB is very welcome. We also require applicants to possess excellent communication, organisation and critical thinking skills.
