Are you looking to be part of a growing team with opportunities for career growth? Do you have a true passion to align business growth ambitions with the external world? This role will let you drive our business agenda with a key focus on international shipyards and defence facilities.

Following continued success within the defence and international shipyard sectors, Haskoning is expanding its current Exeter and Brighton team through the growth of the maritime business.

At Haskoning, you will join an independent, employee‐owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology. Our mission, "Enhancing Society Together," drives us to create a positive impact on the world.

Our global Maritime team is over six hundred strong and is at the forefront of innovative international maritime planning, design, and development. We are multi‐disciplinary experts that work on international projects to create successful ports, shipyards, and maritime infrastructure worldwide.

We are one of the largest and most experienced teams of port planning, shipyard and dry dock professionals, and dock and lock gate designers globally. We are world leaders in the production of port and shipyard feasibility studies, master plans, and designs.

Examples of recent projects include the design of a lock for a new port in India with sliding caisson gates, the design of the newest, largest, and most technically advanced shipyard in the Middle East with three dry docks covering an area of over 1,000 hectares, and above‐and‐below‐water assessment of dock gates in the North East of England.

If you’re an engineer with dock/lock gate, floating pontoons, or other similar floating structure experience and you are looking to work on globally significant projects, this role will give you great exposure to local and global projects alike while working with the leading professionals in the shipyard sector.
