We are recruiting a Commis Chef for 19.25 hours per week | 9:00am - 3:00pm – with the option of overtime. Additional overtime hours are available on an ad hoc basis, offering flexibility and the opportunity to increase earnings when business needs require.

The role of Commis Chef combines the best of both worlds. You'll start behind the scenes, preparing fresh ingredients and supporting food production, before stepping into the spotlight during service. From handcrafting delicious pizzas to overseeing our bustling deli and hot food counters, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding food experiences while building genuine connections with our customers every day. This role benefits from sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week and only one late night a week.
About You
Confident and outgoing, you will enjoy working with the public, as this role oversees our counter service, the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter. Previous experience is not essential, training will be provided for the right person. An ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a close-knit team is essential as is a willingness to learn.
