We are recruiting a Pastry Chef (CDP) on a full-time, temporary basis, working 38 hours per week including alternate weekends. This will be a temporary position for 9 months. Pay scale from £27,000 DOE.
Haskins is a family owned, award winning business with 5 destination garden centres across the South of England, each with a large restaurant. The role of Pastry Chef is to produce, display & sell a high-quality patisserie offer from an agreed menu, whilst maintaining health and safety and food hygiene standards, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved, sales are maximised and losses are controlled. This role benefits from sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week.
About You: This role is well suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be proactive and energetic and be able to work in a busy fast paced environment. Previous catering, Patisserie and high-volume production experience is preferred.
