Job Description

We are recruiting a Commis Chef on a Full-Time, Permanent basis, working 38 hours per week with alternate weekends.

Pay Rate from £25,610 per annum DOE.

A family owned, award winning business, with 5 destination garden centres across the South of England, each with a large restaurant.

The role of Commis Chef

You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of a very busy production kitchen, supplying food for the restaurant in our garden centre. Duties will include the preparation of salads, soups, breakfasts, and lunch.

This role benefits from Sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week and only one late night a week.

About You

Confident and outgoing, you will enjoy working with the public, as this role oversees our counter service, the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter. Previous experience is not essential; training will be provided for the right person. An ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a close-knit team is essential as is a willingness to learn.
