About HASH
HASH provides an open-source platform which helps firms integrate both structured and unstructured information into knowledge graphs that support simulating, optimizing and automating processes. Our mission is to solve information failure, and help everybody make the right decisions. To that end, we're unapologetically excited. Actions speak louder than words, and we measure performance by output. We prioritize speed, and measure product delivery timelines in hours and days, not months and years. We value high-energy, high-expectations people who do what they say and say what they mean. We're committed to building a high-commitment, high-trust environment, and believe that the best teams are most productive together, in-person.
About the role
HASH is growing rapidly, doubling its headcount and expanding its client-facing business. As our Founder's Associate you will work directly alongside HASH's founder/CEO to effectively manage and further accelerate this growth.
Your role will be split between three main areas:
- Making the company run like clockwork. Initially that means creating processes and executing them yourself. As we grow it means delegating those processes to others and building various operational functions: PeopleOps, FinancialOps, SalesOps, etc -- and you should find the idea of ensuring operational excellence stimulating.
- Leading the delivery of special projects. You'll be asked to run key, strategic initiatives that are new to the company, and we're tackling for the first time (or on a one-off basis). For example, organizing a high-profile event, coordinating a product launch, or expanding into a new market. Analytical, project management, and people skills are all equally important in this role.
- Ad-hoc founder support:support the firm's founders on time-critical matters, and experience what it takes to scale a company on a daily basis.
This role is full-time, in-person, working in HASH's London office.
Requirements
You should have completed (or be about to complete) a Bachelor's or Master's degree (by summer 2026 latest) from a top university in Business, Management, Software Engineering, Maths, or a similar field.
- Outstanding verbal and written English: Fluency in English is required for this role (C2), along with a natural talent for writing well, effectively and persuasively.
- Attention-to-detail: Strength in following complex multi-step instructions, incisively identify key information, and spot discrepancies.
- Responsiveness and proactivity: Default to quick replies, and comprehensive follow-ups, supporting effective collaboration with busy senior stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership: Attracted to responsibility, you do what it takes to execute when expectations are set.
- Resiliency and grit: Determination to work hard in the face of uncertainty and setbacks without giving up.
- Numeracy: Ability to read and process financial statements.
- High raw IQ: Capacity to problem solve and reason well across a wide range of domains and problem areas.
- High social IQ: The sensibility to manage diverse stakeholders, implicitly detect tone and feeling, etc.
- High social energy: The drive and motivation to pick up the phone whenever required to unblock things, even in the face of frustration.
Candidates must also be excited about the prospect of working at a fast-growing startup with a high-performance culture, and have realistic expectations as to what this entails.
Over time you may choose to specialize in an area of the business you find most interesting, or continue in a generalist role.
Benefits
This role is heavily performance (tax-advantaged options) incentivized, atop a base salary of £70,000-100,000. In addition, you'll receive 30 days flexible paid time off each year.
HASH's founders have previously sold companies for tens of millions, hundreds of millions (Trello; $425m) and billions of dollars (Stack Overflow; $1.8 billion).
In this role you'll receive one‑on‑one mentorship from the Founder ofHASH.
