Hasbro SA, based in Delemont Switzerland, manufactures and sells Hasbro toy and games products around the world. Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA's distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA's customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe. Hasbro UK Ltd ('the Company') provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
This role plays a pivotal role in driving disciplined expense oversight and strategic investment for the Licensed Consumer Products and Entertainment businesses. Acting as a critical business partner to crossâfunctional leaders, it is responsible for delivering timely, actionable insights into operating expenses to ensure the company maintains financial agility while supporting growth objectives. The role demands a strong command of forecasting, budget management, and variance analysis, paired with excellent communication and strategic influencing skills.
This position is based in our Capper Street, London office with hybrid working: in office Tuesdays/Wednesdays and Thursdays. Fullâtime position.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and manage operating expenses to ensure financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the financial planning and analysis for our LCP and Entertainment businesses.
- Develop financial models to project expenses.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to determine and successfully implement financial strategies.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
- Monitor financial trends and recommend costâsaving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with finance and accounting standards and regulations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Qualified or partâqualified with a recognized accounting institution, e.g., CPA, CFA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the finance or commercial sectors.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Strong knowledge of financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
- A collaborative approach with a proven ability to work effectively in a teamâoriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively in a fastâpaced setting.
