The HR Director, Enablement - EMEA is a hands-on operational leadership role focused on the consistent delivery of HR services, processes, and programmes across EMEA. Based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge, West London, UK (In-office Tue/Wed/Thurs). This role leads a team of five HR Generalists supporting employees across the region, and works in close partnership with Senior HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence (COEs), translating their direction into clear operational delivery through the HR Generalist team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of five HR Generalists supporting employees across EMEA, setting clear performance expectations, building team capability, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality, consistent HR services across the region.
  • Work in close partnership with Senior HR Business Partners and COEs to execute key HR programmes across the region—including talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, career coaching, mentoring, employee relations, and performance management—owning the operational delivery through the HR Generalist team rather than designing the programmes themselves.
  • Take ownership of flawless execution across the employee lifecycle in the EMEA region, partnering with the global HR Enablement team and regional stakeholders to ensure initiatives land consistently and employees experience a seamless and engaging HR service.
  • Receive direction on regional HR priorities from Senior HRBPs and global enablement leadership, then translate those priorities into clear delivery plans for the HR Generalist team, ensuring effective and timely execution across the EMEA region.
  • Act as the senior HR lead and point of escalation across EMEA, providing expert, practical guidance on HR matters and ensuring Hasbro’s policies and culture are applied consistently by the HR Generalist team across the region.
  • Act as a voice for employees, offering insight into workforce sentiment, organisational dynamics, and morale.
  • Ensure compliance with regional employment laws and internal policies, mitigating risk and managing legal issues as necessary.
  • Use HR data and analytics to monitor performance, identify delivery gaps, and drive continuous improvement in the employee experience and HR service efficiency across the region.
  • Lead the on-the-ground delivery of change management activity across EMEA relating to organisational growth, transformation, and process improvements, ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal disruption to employees and the business.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep experience operating within a complex EMEA environment, with a good working knowledge of employment laws, cultural nuances, and the practical challenges of supporting a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Expertise in HR leadership, operations, systems, and processes, with a strong track record of delivering excellent HR services across a diverse, multi-site workforce.
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across diverse HR functions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of addressing a wide range of complex HR issues independently.

Experience Requirements

  • Significant HR Director-level experience, with demonstrated leadership of HR teams—candidates should have a strong background in HR delivery and people management, not purely strategic business partnering.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR generalist teams and delivering consistent, measurable operational outcomes, with experience working in partnership with Senior HRBPs and COEs to ensure HR programmes are delivered effectively on the ground.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deliver data-driven and pragmatic solutions.
