Hasana, Inc. is a luxury fashion brand that offers high‑end men’s and women’s clothing ranging from contemporary to classic styles. The company seeks talented students in the Chicago Loop area for a variety of spring internship positions, and this role is unpaid.
As a Digital Photographer Intern you will have a variety of responsibilities throughout the semester, working alongside stylists and contributing to the brand’s online presence.
Primary responsibilities:- Work in the studio team alongside stylists taking digital images of Hasana products.
- Ensure all products are lit correctly, efficiently and creatively, in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Produce high‑quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring proper exposure and colour consistency.
- Accurately archive images for easy access by other departments.
- Prepare sets, check equipment, set up lighting and maintain accurate daily shoot records.
- Ensure all images are ready in advance of online sales.
- Meet daily and weekly deadlines to prepare new website material.
- Aid the Product Photography Manager in implementing creative direction from Editorial and Art Director.
- Work well within a team and under pressure with a flexible attitude.
- Take responsibility for care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies.
- When needed retouch, crop, and upload digital images.
- Name and maintain digital asset file structure organization.
- Perform quality assurance on all images.
- Crop images and maintain size specification guidelines.
- Passion for women’s economic opportunities.
- Full‑time or part‑time student working toward a degree.
- Eligible to receive school credit and able to commit to 2–3 days a week for 3 months.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to present information to management and public groups as necessary.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in a studio environment.
- Proven experience with digital cameras and lighting.
- High technical proficiency in Photoshop, Capture One and networked computers.
- Strong understanding of colour correction and image constraints.
- Detail oriented and creative.
- Integrity, honesty, openness and willingness to work as a team player.
