We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to help shape the future growth of our organisation. Covering our branches in Liverpool, Bury, and Leeds, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and driving the development of our branch network in line with our five-year growth plan.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and contributing to strategic business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
  • Develop existing client accounts, encouraging them to purchase additional products and services.
  • Work closely with branch managers to help achieve sales targets and drive growth.
  • Review product mix by branch using BI software to identify and address lost opportunities.
  • Collaborate with directors to create and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring excellent service at all times.
  • Calculate sales prices and discounts in line with company guidelines to maximise profitability.
  • Use CRM and reporting tools (Phocas) to analyse performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of processes across the business.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
  • High level of numeracy for calculating pricing, margins, and discounts.
  • Experience within the ventilation, HVAC, or related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
