This role can be based out of Liverpool, Leeds or Bury.
We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to help shape the future growth of our organisation.
Covering our branches in Liverpool, Bury, and Leeds, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and driving the development of our branch network in line with our five-year growth plan.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and contributing to strategic business expansion.

- Must be able to travel between branches and to client sites.
- Knowledge of the local markets (Liverpool, Leeds, Bury) would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving License required
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
- Develop existing client accounts, encouraging them to purchase additional products and services.
- Work closely with branch managers to help achieve sales targets and drive growth.
- Review product mix by branch using BI software to identify and address lost opportunities.
- Collaborate with directors to create and implement strategic sales plans.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring excellent service at all times.
- Calculate sales prices and discounts in line with company guidelines to maximise profitability.
- Use CRM and reporting tools (Phocas) to analyse performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of processes across the business.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- High level of numeracy for calculating pricing, margins, and discounts.
- Experience within the ventilation, HVAC, or related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
