Job Purpose
Department/Business/Location: Workshop
Reports To: Workshop Controller and Aftersales Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults as instructed.
- Ensure understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and undertake relevant training.
- Observe safe working practices at all times.
- Adhere to manufacturer and dealer quality standards.
- Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Complete relevant service documentation (electronic job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) according to brand standards, warranty, and site requirements.
- Perform high-quality vehicle health checks and videos promptly.
- Maintain workshop health & safety and housekeeping standards, including the use of tools.
- Continue professional development through manufacturer training, including Hybrid and BEV technologies.
Skills & Requirements
- Relevant NVQ / IMI Light vehicle maintenance qualification
- Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT
- Energy and enthusiasm
- Full UK driving licence
- Smart appearance

- Desirable: Main dealer experience, Manufacturer Training and Qualifications.
