Job Purpose
The role of the Tyre Fitter is to:
- To carry out fitting of tyres to manufacturer standards.
- To carry out such work in a safe and economical manner.
- To meet and greet customers on their arrival, assist them with parking and direct them to the appropriate department i.e; Service reception or a member of the sales team.
- Assist with on site logistics, free up customer visiting spaces and keeping the compound & storage organised.
- To liaise between sales and service to make accessible the cars required as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

- To ensure vehicle tyres are fitted to manufacturer specification and thoroughly examined with any problems reported to the Service/Aftersales Manager.
- Maximise tyre and steering alignment sales opportunities.
- Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are always maintained including the use of special and personal tools.
- Assist with on site logistics, free up customer visiting spaces and keeping the compound & storage organised.
