Job Purpose
The role of the Stores Person is to:
- Sort parts, ready for driver delivery.
Department/Business/Location: Parts / Crawley JLR
Reports To: Parts Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, identify, locate, and stock parts in the storeroom.
- Pick, pack, and ship parts orders to customers.
- Deliver parts to technicians when required.
- Perform general housekeeping duties including scrap and warranty returns.
- Assist with deliveries of parts to customers.
- Maintain standards in line with brand standards requirements.
- Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
Experience, Skills & Requirements
- Understanding of basic vehicle design, function, and location of parts.
- Attention to detail and maintaining good, accurate quality of work.
- Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
- Ability to plan, organize self, and meet work deadlines.
- Energy and enthusiasm.
- Smart appearance.
- Full UK driving license.
