Job Purpose
The role of the Parts Delivery Driver is to:
- Ensure parts are delivered promptly within the parts department delivery schedule.
Department/Business/Location: Parts
Reports To: Parts Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Check invoices to ensure the right part is on the invoice.
- Load stock items ready to dispatch.
- Report all customer issues to the parts manager promptly.
- Ensure the security and check the quality of all parts.
- Use knowledge of the local area to effectively plan delivery routes.
- Check the delivery van is kept in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Drive in a safe and courteous manner and ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property, reporting any known faults or hazards.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Smart appearance.
- Competency in numeracy and literacy.
Desirable:
- Advanced motoring qualification.
- Experience in a similar role.
Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm + overtime
