Job Purpose
The role of the Head Receptionist is to:
- Ensure customers and visitors receive an immediate welcome.
- Ensure all calls, both internal and external, are answered and dealt with efficiently within the correct process.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure reception area is staffed and kept tidy at all times.
- Direct customers towards the seating area and offer refreshments while they are waiting.
- Handle and coordinate all calls and visitors, taking full details of the caller’s business, paging members of staff as needed.
- Establish and maintain a system to monitor the whereabouts of key staff at all times.
- Keep customer refreshments stocked up at all times.
- Keep customer waiting area clean and tidy and clear of crockery etc., at all times; also kitchen area in showroom.
- Correctly process all outgoing post ready for dispatch each evening.
- Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Smart appearance.
- Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6pm
