JLR is the UK\’s largest automotive manufacturer, built around the iconic Land Rover and Jaguar brands. We are looking for people who share our passion to join our highly successful retail apprenticeship programme. Your early development is carefully mapped through your apprenticeship journey with a learning focus towards achieving an industry recognised qualification.

At the end of the apprenticeship programme you will undertake the JLR Level 2 assessment. This is the grounding for future development within the network.

Responsibilities

• Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
• Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
• Producing time estimates.
• Maintaining repair and service records.

Qualifications and Training

• Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle).
• Certificate in Automotive Refrigerant Handling.
• JLR specific certifications.

Apprenticeship Details

Three‑year programme. Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30. Possibility of Saturday workings and/or shifts. Working week will be confirmed on application.
