The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Servicing of planned maintenance, reactive and remedial calls across the customer base in line with the current British Standards and current legislation. Effectively communicate with the customer the details of their service, fault, or remedial visit, advising of the outcome and any additional works required. Promote the company values at all times and act as an ambassador for the company, demonstrating and upholding a professional manner.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with and report to your line manager to agree business objectives and review key performance indicators.
- Complete all works issued in the most cost-effective, efficient, and timely manner in line with company policies.
- Self-manage ongoing van stock to ensure first-time fix is maximised on approved job selection.
- Attend any training sessions identified by the company and advise of any training needs required to carry out job duties.
- Complete company documentation thoroughly and in line with company expectations.
- Undertake reasonable overtime as required by the business to ensure that a customer’s premises remains fully operational and compliant.
- Identify all non-conformances and recommendations as part of the service visit and report back to the service desk for relevant quotations.
- Respond to emergency calls within the specified timescale wherever possible.
- Have occasional supervisory responsibility for junior or trainee engineers should they accompany you onto site.
- Provide support for other engineers from time to time.
Overtime Rates:
- Monday – Friday: 17:00 - 00:00 Paid at Time & Half
- Monday – Friday: 00:00 – 08:30 Paid at Double Time
- Saturday – Time/Half to mid-day, double time thereafter
- Sunday – Double time
- Bank Holidays on call – Double time and a day back in lieu
- Travel time during overtime is paid at single rate

Holiday:
- 22 days holiday pro rata – January to December plus statutory bank holidays.
- Every year an extra day is added for the first 5 years of employment.
