An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary or Paralegal to join a well established Law firm in their Clevedon office on a full-time basis. The ideal person will have a minimum of 2 years experience and a good working knowledge of residential conveyancing matters.
You will not run your own caseload, but will provide direct support to the Solicitors in the department and work alongside them throughout the residential conveyancing process. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the drafting of SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions and Transfer Deeds
- Dealing with basic enquiries
- Producing case management letters
- Handling all AML on-boarding procedures
- Opening and closing files
- Speaking with agents and clients over the telephone to provide updates
- Dealing with all other duties associated with a Residential Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal position
There may also be reception duties on a rota. The perfect person will have excellent telephone, inter-personal and typing skills.
