I am currently recruiting for a well established Law firm who is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their fast paced and friendly team. Full or part time candidates will be considered and full training will be given, this is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career within Accounts or suitable for someone with previous experience. Daily duties will include – Keeping track of all banking on a daily basis and managing the accounts system including all daily reconciliations. Dealing with all invoices and ensuring they are paid on time. Ensuring the efficient operation of the firms VAT system Scrutinising all banking transactions for possible internet fraud (hacking, phishing etc.). Recording all transactions in the appropriate manner in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules Providing information to the firms accountants upon request and working with them on all audits Managing the firms work in progress and ensuring the proper provision of timesheets on a daily basis Providing information in order the enable the obtaining of all necessary regulatory validation (Professional Indemnity, practising certificates).
