Are you organised, proactive and interested in developing your career in residential property law? My client is a highly regarded South West law company, who are proud of the high quality, personal service they deliver to their clients. They are now looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Residential Conveyancing team, based full time in our Yeovil office, 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The teams support individuals, families and businesses across a wide range of legal matters, and are trusted to manage their clients' work with professionalism, care and attention to detail, within a supportive and inclusive working environment where every colleague plays a valued role. Due to growth within the team, they are seeking a Legal Assistant to support their busy Residential Conveyancing department in Yeovil. In this role, you will work closely with our Conveyancers and Solicitors, providing essential administrative and organisational support to ensure matters progress efficiently and clients receive an excellent service throughout their transaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day to day management of files.
- Prepare and amend documentation.
- Liaise with clients and third parties.
- Manage correspondence.
- Ensure that case management systems are kept accurate and up to date.
- Help transactions run smoothly from instruction through to completion.
Qualifications
This position would suit someone with previous legal assistant or administrative experience, ideally within conveyancing, although this is not essential. We would also welcome applications from candidates who are keen to develop a career in law and are looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive team.
