I am currently supporting a well-established law firm in Basingstoke who is recruiting for an experienced Conveyancer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work for a friendly, supportive and fast-paced Conveyancing team, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including hybrid working.

Day to day duties will include:

  • To take instructions from clients in all domestic conveyancing transactions.
  • To assist other members of the team with workloads and with file opening.
  • To work alongside the Legal Secretary team to manage all due diligence and supporting paperwork.
  • To comply with all CQS requirements.
  • Utilising the case management system (LEAP) and time recording as required.
  • To monitor and develop with the Department Head the systems connected with the Property Department.
  • To work to establish and maintain strong relationships with local estate agencies and/or mortgage brokers.

Other Duties:

  • To cover for the other Fee-Earners in the Property Department when they are sick, on holiday or as directed by the Head of Department.
  • To undertake such other tasks or duties as the Head of Department or Partners may reasonably require.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • 2 years PQE or other equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team.
