A leading law firm is looking for an enthusiastic IT Systems Trainer to join there team in Newbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong systems knowledge and experience delivering training, coaching or user support who wants to develop their career within IT training and legal technology.

The Role
As IT Systems Trainer, you will deliver practical and engaging systems training to colleagues across the firm, including partners, fee earners and business support teams.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Delivering classroom, desk-side, one-to-one and virtual systems training
  • Running IT and systems induction training for new starters
  • Providing follow-up training and targeted support to individuals and teams
  • Helping colleagues resolve day-to-day systems queries
  • Creating clear training guides, videos and e-learning materials
  • Keeping training content updated as technology and systems develop
  • Working closely with departmental heads to identify training needs
  • Supporting the successful adoption of new systems and technology
  • Maintaining training records and reporting on engagement and outcomes
  • Promoting best practice in the use of systems across the firm

About You
You will be energetic, approachable and confident communicating with people at all levels.
The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience delivering training, coaching or systems support within a professional environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Share Point, Outlook and One Drive
  • Confidence presenting to groups and supporting individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to adapt training for different audiences and levels of technical confidence
  • A patient, practical and learner-focused approach
  • The confidence to work independently and manage competing priorities

Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be particularly advantageous:

  • Legal IT or law firm systems
  • Legal case management systems
  • Document management systems
  • Time recording or legal billing software
  • Creating e-learning, instructional videos or digital training content
  • Working within a law firm or professional services organisation
