An established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join its busy Private Client department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive team handling a broad range of private client matters.
The Role You will provide support to fee earners and assist with a varied caseload including:
- Wills
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts
• Inheritance Tax Planning Responsibilities will include
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing probate and estate administration paperwork
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
- Managing files and maintaining case management systems
- Assisting with the progression of matters from instruction through to completion
- Supporting fee earners with day-to-day case management Requirements
- ideally experience within a Private Client department
- Knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs and Estate Administration
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
