An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary or Paralegal to join our Bromsgrove office on a full-time basis. It is essential that applicants have a minimum of 3-4 years experience and a good working knowledge of residential conveyancing matters.
You will not run your own caseload, but will provide direct support to the Head of Property Services and work alongside them throughout the residential conveyancing process. You will assist with the drafting of SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions and Transfer Deeds, deal with basic enquiries, produce case management letters and deal with all AML on-boarding procedures. You will also have responsibility for opening and closing files, speaking with agents and clients over the telephone to provide updates and deal with all other duties associated with a Residential Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal position.
Applicants should have excellent telephone, inter-personal and typing skills and must be able to prioritise work in a confidential, timely and effective manner using a high degree of self-management and initiative. They must also be able to work to tight deadlines as this is a very busy department. A pleasant personality, professional appearance and the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team are essential for this role. Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office and case management systems are also essential.
Hours of work are 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. In return, we offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, pension scheme, off-site car parking and excellent working conditions.
