Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for your next career move? Do you want to work for a manufacturing company specialising in the innovative design and production of electrical / electronic components? We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative who is responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately while supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse.

Role

  • Accurately pick customer orders using the Warehouse Management System
  • Pack goods in line with customer requirements and packing instructions
  • Support inventory control through stock checks and perpetual inventory activities
  • Put away stock safely and accurately as required
  • Work towards departmental targets and performance objectives
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and housekeeping
  • Support the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse processes

Requirements

  • Experience working within a warehouse or similar environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems (ERP/WMS experience advantageous)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence desirable

Additional Information:

This is a physically active role requiring standing, walking, and moving around the warehouse throughout the working day. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check, employment and reference checks, verification of employment gaps of 28 days or longer, and training/testing to work within a secure aviation area.
