The Role

We are looking for a Production Equipment Cleaning Operative to support the efficient and safe running of our CNC sliding head machines. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards across our production environment, ensuring machinery is clean, properly maintained, and operating effectively. You’ll be responsible for swarf removal, material separation, and fluid management, helping to support machine performance while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean CNC machines and surrounding areas
  • Remove and separate swarf by material type
  • Manage oil, coolant, and lubrication levels
  • Operate swarf processing equipment
  • Monitor waste bins and arrange collection
  • Follow health & safety procedures and use PPE
  • Report any machine or fluid issues

  • Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
