The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automation software engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the machinery that underpins our manufacturing processes.
As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, drive improvements in reliability and productivity, and actively mentor and develop those around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme and maintain PLC systems (Mitsubishi i Q-R)
- Develop and support robot programming (Mitsubishi)
- Configure and optimise vision systems (Keyence and Asyril)
- Work with automation equipment such as servo systems, RFID, and inverters
- Identify and implement improvements to increase machine reliability and throughput
- Lead fault‑finding activities and resolve complex technical issues
- Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to engineers across the team

- Highly skilled automation professional with a strong technical foundation and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in software programming methodologies.
