A vacancy has arisen to recruit an Administration Clerk within the Operations Centre. The purpose of the role is to support the Admin Controller and the Shift Manager, Operations in providing a high standard of general administration throughout the Operations Centre. To assist in areas where support is required with particular regard to the Operations Centre counter.
Key Requirements
- Computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc)
- Experience in database management, document control, and electronic record keeping
- Sound knowledge of office administration procedures and best practises
- A good working knowledge of the Port is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach
- An understanding of company procedures including health & safety throughout the office environment.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage.
- Holds a full, clean UK driving licence
- 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths
