An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Shift Maintenance Engineer within the Engineering Department to carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance in the servicing and repair of the HGV, commercial vehicles and forklift truck fleet.
Key Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc) or ONC in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Driving and plant and equipment licences required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Holding a relevant vehicle electrical qualification will be a distinct advantage
- Successful applicants will be required to attain an NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Maintenance

- Experience of heavy plant and machinery in a heavy industrial environment
- Must be willing to multi-skill in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Self‑motivation and the ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
