We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to become a vital part of our professional body and help us create an environment where every student knows, understands, and believes that the opportunity is here for them. Whether you're an experienced professional or just starting your career, we offer a dynamic and stimulating environment where you can truly thrive. The successful candidate will work 27.5 hours per week. This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days.
A Day in the Life: You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
- To understand the individual needs of students by being fully aware of their One Plan.
- To liaise with SENCo and classroom teachers, so that classroom support is targeted to impact positively on progress and outcomes.
- To facilitate reading programmes and other directed interventions, update intervention records and inform the SENCo about students’ progress.
