Responsibilities

  • Qualify prospects based on business need and technical fit.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations that directly address client’s business and technical requirements.
  • Provide guidance and pre‑sales technical support for a successful evaluation and short sales cycle.
  • Contribute product and solution knowledge for our internal and shared communities.
  • Provide support for implementation and services consultations as needed.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to excel as Technical Consultant. Spending up to 80% of your time preparing for that 20% of time when you’re in front of the customer.
  • Ideally with past experiences at companies like Tableau, Tibco, Qlick, Micro Strategy, Pentaho, Alteryx.
  • Notions of Advanced Analytics, Data Science (e. g.

Statistics and Predictive using stats programming languages such as S+, R, or SAS), Geo‑Analytics, Real Time Analytics is a must.

  • Knowledge of Hadoop distributions in combination with BI tools is highly appreciated.
  • Excellent customer facing skills, able to switch language/content depending on the target audience.
  • Ability to translate customer functional and business requirements into a comprehensive technical solution.
  • Fluent in German and English.
