We are looking for an energetic and hands-on team player who is eager to get involved in multiple projects and keen to learn and develop their career within an exciting B2B scale-up. Ideally, they will have one to two years’ experience working either agency-side or in-house in a marketing generalist or specialist role. Experience working closely with internal stakeholders to implement marketing projects, a basic understanding of how to drive omni-channel, customer-centric communications, and fluency in German (ideally business German) are essential. A passion for data and analytics is an added bonus.
Day-to-day activities
- Work closely with the internal marketing and design teams to support the execution of marketing programmes and campaigns, particularly digital execution including website updates and social media activity, focusing on the DACH region of EMEA to support our sales growth there.
- Assist with the execution of integrated campaigns, helping to track customer engagement and leads through the funnel and across multiple on and offline channels.
- Support with the management of marketing, content and social media calendars, ensuring that deadlines are hit and campaigns are executed in a timely fashion.
- Translate marketing content from English to German to support our Swiss Sales team.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure the maintenance of the company website, including SEO and Paid Search programmes.
- Support with partner marketing and events that have been prioritised for 2018 and into 2019.
- From time to time, work with external marketing, design and PR agencies.
Requirements
- Energetic self-starter, with ideally 1 to 2 years’ directly relevant experience.
- An ‘ideas’ person, eager to bring his or her ideas to a rapidly growing B2B tech company, and see them come to life through exciting marketing programmes.
- Degree in relevant Business, Digital Communication or Marketing discipline.
- German-speaking, with some experience of translating business content from English into German.
- A passion for the data and analytics market, with a keen interest in seeing where this market will lead in the future.
- Demonstrable experience of having worked closely with internal stakeholders to achieve specific objectives and goals.
- Strong project and time management skills including delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills to support the rest of the team.
- High attention to detail.
- Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve.
