This job is based in Doha, Qatar. We are looking for internationally-minded, ambitious candidates to join our talented team as we support clients across a range of truly unique and diverse projects. This is a full-time role, but for the right candidate we are open to flexible arrangements. The job will likely require international travel.
Harvine is growing its in-house production team! We are hiring a Videographer & Content Editor who has experience producing and editing high-quality video content for various social media platforms. We need someone who is well-organised with a proactive, get-up-and-go attitude who is up for tackling challenges and solving problems head-on while delivering top-quality work to tight deadlines. Above all, we are looking for someone who is a passionate storyteller and creative thinker. Our projects cover a wide range of topics and reach audiences across the world and often require innovative approaches to capture and maintain viewer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client and agency teams to understand project requirements
- Develop storyboards, shot lists and set design for videos
- Scout filming locations and prepare equipment
- Lead on operating video and sound equipment to capture footage in multiple formats
- Edit videos into formats as per client needs
- Colour grade videos aligning with client look-and-feel
- Ensure all videos respect brand guidelines
- Attend periodic meetings to share project updates
- Maintain a growing library of assets including raw footage, project files and videos
- Manage multiple projects with varied scopes
Skills
- A strong portfolio of work demonstrating your creativity and ability to work across various applications
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software
- Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting and composition
- Set design and shot selection
- Familiarity with audio equipment and sound editing
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours when needed
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and user expectations
- Comfortable with complex assignments and collaborating within a diverse team
- Desirable but not essential: Arabic speaker (most creative projects will be briefed and applied in English and Arabic)
- Experience working in the Middle East
- Experience in drone videography or photography
- Experience with motion graphics or animation
