The Company Harvey Spack Field was established in 1979 and has been at the forefront of the retail warehouse, foodstore and leisure markets for over 30 years.

Job Purpose: To complement the existing investment team at Harvey Spack Field with a focus on acquiring and disposing of retail warehouse, foodstore and leisure assets.

Main Duties:

  • Communicating and building strong relationships with Institutional and Private investors in the out-of-town retail sector.
  • Seeking and evaluating retail warehouse, foodstore and leisure investments.
  • Negotiating new acquisitions.
  • Procuring sale instructions and handling the full marketing/sales process.
  • Helping to track investment deals across the sector and add to our extensive database.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally qualified as a Chartered Member of the RICS.
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience.
  • A good working relationship with existing clients.
  • A sound professional network within the retail warehouse market.
  • A current knowledge base of commercial investment valuation practices within the retail warehouse and leisure sectors.
  • The ability to explain and write short reports identifying business plans for both acquisitions and disposals.
  • The ability and personality to work well and communicate within a busy and close-knit team.
  • Ability to share and contribute ideas for the benefit of the wider business.
  • Hardworking, focused and self-driven to add value and see angles that others may overlook.
  • A proven track record of having acquired and sold commercial investments.
