Weβre looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and self-motivated individual to join our Warehouse team here in Woking. As a Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for completing duties predominately within the yard which includes ensuring all orders are picked, packed and shipped in an efficient manner and ensuring vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a safe and proactive manner. Reporting into the Warehouse Team Leader you will be working closely with both the Warehouse and Softener supplies and becoming a key part of the Harvey Water Softeners operational team.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00am-16:30pm and 08:30am-17:00pm on a weekly rotation
What this role involves:
- Pick, pack and shipping of filters orders in a timely manner.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.
- Dealing with trade and dealer orders and loading these onto vehicles.
- Replenishing stock.
- Stock control (taking accountability for transacting stock used).
- Working with the inventory controller and team leader to ensure any process improvements are adhered to.
- General warehouse duties including some cleaning and maintenance.
- Adhering to H&S standards and reporting near misses where applicable.
- Completing stock takes (potentially one per quarter).
What weβre looking for:
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Experience working within a physical stock control environment.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Computer literate.
- Be flexible with a willing approach.
- Team player who can work independently and use their own initiative.
- Time Management.
