We are currently working with one of the top professional services firms in their search to find a Senior Manager, Employee Benefits for their growing team.
Working closely with their Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Pension Consulting and Risk & Regulation team, as an Employee Benefits Senior Manager, you will be advising and assisting clients within the Healthcare and Risk sectors, align their benefits with corporate strategy whilst also ensuring cost-effectiveness and support for employee wellbeing, performance, and retention. With a great mix of clients, you will be working with high-profile organisations, entrepreneurs, and family businesses and will be responsible for guiding them through often complex rules and the impacts on their employees.
You will need to be highly experienced in this area of expertise and as Senior Manager, you will also be required to influence business direction, drive proposition development, and contribute to business growth by generating new revenue streams.
Key responsibilities will include:- Lead on the delivery of employee benefits projects, within the Healthcare and Risk sectors.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, handling all client activities, including report preparation, communications, and provider contracting terms.
- Act as the primary point of contact or escalation with clients, liaising effectively with other consultants to manage and develop client relationships.
- Delegate work to other members in the team, including Managers and Senior Associates.
- Provide training, support, and personal development to team members.
- Undertake internal risk management activities and ensure compliance with internal processes, including FCA regulated activities.
- Highly experienced manager of employee benefit projects.
- In depth knowledge and technical awareness of EB products, in particular Healthcare and Risk (including flexible benefits).
- Experience of advising clients regarding their UK Healthcare arrangements, including trust-based and insured schemes.
- Experience of advising clients regarding their UK group risk products, including knowledge of individual insurance arrangements.
- Ability to advise clients around global benefits provision.
- Demonstrate the ability to be consultative and pragmatic in client strategy and delivery.
- Knowledge of employee benefits market trends, within both UK and globally.
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to distil technical language (industry jargon) for non-experts (clients and colleagues).
- Experience with managing people, including oversight of work, delivery, coaching and collaboration.
