Role Overview:

LEADING LONDON LAW FIRM SEEKS PROACTIVE EMPLOYMENT TAXES SENIOR (AT SENIOR ASSOCIATE, LEGAL DIRECTOR OR PARTNER LEVEL) TO HELP DEVELOP AN EMPLOYMENT TAX TEAM.

Join a leading London UK law firm renowned for its top-tier employment law expertise and spearhead a pioneering Employment Tax group. As Legal Director or Partner, you’ll drive client growth, harness unmatched expertise, and shape a market-leading service. Accelerate your career by building a high-impact group and delivering innovative employment tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategize and build a high-caliber employment tax team, reflecting your unique approach.
2. Secure premium clients, capitalizing on the firm’s employment law platform to expand tax mandates.
3. Advise on technical employment tax issues: IR35 compliance, PAYE/NICs optimization, and tax-efficient reward structures.
4. Recruit and mentor talent, cultivating an innovative, results-driven team culture.
5. Partner with employment law experts to deliver seamless, high-value solutions.
6. Monitor HMRC regulations and author thought leadership to boost firm visibility.

Requirements:

1. 6-7 years’ PQE minimum in employment tax, with proven client-winning ability.
2. Expert knowledge of UK tax regimes (PAYE, NICs, IR35, benefits taxation).
3. Strong leadership and practice-building skills, with a growth-oriented mindset.
4. CTA/ATT or legal qualification (essential).
5. Strategic, networked, and entrepreneurial profile.
