Analyst – Executive Remuneration for Leading Consulting firm - London £35-£50k Base pay.

The types of analysis will include:

  • Reviewing financial analysts’ reports in relation to a Company
  • Researching executive pay arrangements (including the quantum and structure) in comparator companies
  • Benchmarking the current Company’s arrangements
  • Analysis of current trends in corporate governance, including the views of institutional investors on executive pay

The analytical tools involved will be:

  • Use of Microsoft Excel to benchmark pay quantum and structure from data held in an Access Database
  • Use of DataStream to analyse performance conditions
  • Preparation of client reports using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Data collation
  • Data analytics (e.g. working with colleagues on databases to undertake benchmarking of pay levels)
  • Using templates to undertake data analysis
  • Financial modelling (e.g. costing pay proposals and designing incentive plans)
  • Interpretation of data analysis to inform conclusions
  • Interacting with clients to collect data

The candidate will need to be flexible with the role, providing the opportunity for fast development and personal progression in a dynamic environment. The candidate will be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and have good knowledge of other Microsoft products.
