A leading global advisory firm is seeking an experienced Executive Compensation & Board Advisory (ECBA) Director to join their fast-growing team. This is a senior opportunity to partner directly with major Financial Services clients, advising C-Suite leaders, Remuneration Committees and Boards on complex executive reward and incentive strategy.

Providing advisory expertise in the area of executive compensation, equity and incentive design, total rewards strategy and financial modelling, you’ll work closely with colleagues across Europe and globally to deliver innovative, commercially grounded solutions for some of the region’s largest organisations.

The Role

  • Lead and expand client relationships within the Financial Services sector.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-Suite, RemCo and Board stakeholders.
  • Design and implement market-leading executive compensation and incentive strategies.
  • Lead and deliver major client engagements.
  • Provide deep subject-matter expertise across executive compensation and reward.
  • Develop compensation structures, incentive plans and pay frameworks for global organisations.
  • Contribute to projects involving total rewards strategy, benchmarking, long-term and annual incentives, pay-for-performance alignment, employment contract reviews and change-in-control arrangements.
  • Support the development of new tools, methodologies and intellectual capital.
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior consultants.

Experience Required

  • Significant experience advising Senior Executives and Boards on executive compensation within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry.
  • In-depth technical expertise across tax, accounting, corporate finance and regulatory considerations relevant to executive pay.
  • Proven experience designing equity plans, incentive arrangements, LTIPs, STIPs and other reward structures.
  • Hands-on experience with special equity and incentive plans for situations such as: IPOs, LBOs, M&As, divestitures, recapitalization and venture/entrepreneurial start-ups.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Superior analytical skills and understanding of human resource and financial issues within major global organizations and in entrepreneurial environments.
  • Collaborative working style, with the ability to build trust quickly.
