Harvey Nichols is seeking a new Stock and Multichannel Assistant to join the team in our Edinburgh store on a fixed term contract of 12 weeks. Behind every unforgettable shopping experience is a team of dedicated professionals who ensure our products are impeccably managed, our stockrooms are organised, and our clients always find exactly what they’re looking for. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining the seamless flow of product that supports our reputation for excellence.

This is a temporary position over the summer working 3 days a week with the shift pattern of Monday, Wednesday and Friday, totaling 22.5 hours per week.

About the role
  • Stock & Inventory Management
    • Support daily stock operations including goods receipt, discrepancy checks, cycle counts, and stock investigations.
    • Maintain accurate stock records and trackers, supporting reticketing, markdown prep, and stockroom optimisation.
    • Identify and report damaged or irregular stock.
  • Multichannel Operations
    • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders, meeting KPIs and same‑day targets where required.
    • Manage Collect‑in‑Store processes and elevate overdue orders.
    • Keep multichannel areas tidy and organised, returning equipment properly.
  • Retail Operations
    • Ensure all stock handling, transfers, and returns follow company standards.
    • Monitor deliveries, update trackers, and support store-to-store transfers.
    • Uphold product care guidelines and follow escalation procedures.
