Overview Harvey Nichols is seeking a Store Detective to join the team in Manchester, a destination for modern luxury and cutting-edge design.
Responsibilities Providing a fair and consistent level of enforcement of all Company policies and procedures and maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Identifying and advising store management and staff of any possible stock loss risks and best practice in loss prevention.
Detecting, apprehending and detaining persons guilty of stealing Company property, cash or merchandise.
Conducting regular and random searches of employee and contractors’ possessions in line with the Company policy.
Qualifications Hold an SIA Licence and have previous experience of security and loss prevention, particularly in a luxury retail environment.
Knowledge of Criminal Law, court procedures and security equipment.
Strong communication, organizational and planning skills, with self-motivation and the ability to quickly adapt to challenging situations.
The working hours for this position are 37.5 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, inclusive of weekends.
