About the role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and make their dining dreams a reality, providing a fun and enjoyable 5* experience. You will:
- Be responsible for the business performance of the Brasserie and Bars
- Analyse and plan hospitality sales levels and profitability
- Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and offer schemes
- Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales
- Create and execute plans for department sales, profit, and staff development
- Set budgets or agree them with senior hospitality management
- Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef
- Coordinate the operation of the Brasserie ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team
- Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
- Respond to customer queries and complaints
- Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare for the weeks ahead.
- Comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements.
- Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it
- Flexibility is a must; customer service can’t wait during weekends and evenings!
Is this you?
We are looking for individuals who embrace diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and food and are looking for something uniquely different.
- Have you done something like this before?
- You will ideally have a successful high end bar and restaurant background with proven experience supervising teams.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the food and beverage industry, especially cocktails (mixologist is a plus).
- Impeccable command of the English language both written and spoken.
- Passion for beverage and keeping up to date with latest wines and liquors.
