The Harvey Nichols Stock Movement supports the effective management of stock across the store, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, transfers, and returns in line with company procedures. Working closely with all the Back Oh House BOH functions, the role helps maintain stock accuracy, supports inventory processes, and ensures stockrooms are well-organized. This position also contributes to team performance by promoting best practices, providing feedback, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
Team Support
Ensure that the behaviour is aligned with the standards required by the Group.
Provide high quality relevant feedback to the Line Manager.
Support the on-boarding of new team members ensuring they receive sufficient information about store operations policies and guidelines.
Encourage the exchange of knowledge within the team.
Repot promptly absences, ensuring proper communication and coverage planning.
Attend regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support personal development, achievement of KPIs, and overall departmental improvement.
Follow the daily rota and lunch schedule to ensure proper coverage, effective planning of activities, and assignment of tasks.
Take responsibility for promptly reporting sickness absences in line with Harvey Nichols procedures and for planning holidays in advance to maintain smooth team operations.
Retail Operations
Ensure the care and protection of product accordingly to company guidelines.
Ensure the day-to-day management of goods receipt (quality check, tags check, discrepancy check, same day upload), storage and movement of goods are managed responsibly and in line with company guidelines.
Monitor daily deliveries and promptly report any discrepancies, ensuring to monitor DISCREPANCY TRACKER on daily basis.
