Harvey Nichols is looking for an energetic, service‑driven Host/Hostess for our Knightsbridge Bar to be the welcoming face of our venue, the very first impression our guests receive.

About The Role

As our Host/Hostess, you'll ensure each guest enjoys a seamless, friendly, and elevated hospitality experience from the moment they arrive. This includes:

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Manage reservations and maintain an organised waitlist.
  • Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
  • Coordinate with servers and bar/kitchen teams for smooth service flow.
  • Handle incoming calls and guest enquiries professionally.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organised, and inviting.
  • Resolve guest concerns courteously when needed.
  • Assist with special requests and guest needs.
  • Support hospitality events and ensure a seamless attendee experience.
  • Maximise sales through up‑selling and recommendations.
  • Deliver the highest standards of customer service.
  • Promote all services, activities, and offerings across the Fifth Floor and store.
  • Operate the cloakroom efficiently and securely when required.
  • Maintain strong menu and drinks knowledge to guide guests confidently.
  • Follow all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Uphold high standards of personal presentation.
  • Achieve personal KPIs.
