Harvey Nichols is seeking a Stock and Multichannel Team Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. About the role… As our new Stock and Multichannel Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the seamless operations of both stock management and multichannel services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service. This role manages the end-to-end flow of stock, from receipt and storage to order processing and dispatch, while maintaining compliance with company standards and supporting sustainable cost management.
Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture that supports both store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
You’ll deliver an exceptional and professional service through:
- Team Support
- Maximise team performance through effective people management and development.
- Coordinate daily operational activities, distribute tasks, and manage schedules.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support onboarding.
- Identify team potential, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and collaborate with HR when needed.
- Retail Operations
- Implement KPIs, guidelines, and procedures from Store Management and Head Office.
- Oversee goods receipt, storage, transfers, and returns in line with company standards.
- Monitor stock integrity, report discrepancies, and manage damaged or irregular items.
- Maintain strong knowledge of operational systems and tools.
- Multichannel Operations
- Manage order picking, packing, and dispatch to meet service KPIs.
- Process returns and nil pick orders accurately and promptly.
- Maintain organized workstations and ensure equipment readiness.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure timely courier collections.
- Store Maintenance
- Keep stockrooms and related areas organized and well-maintained.
- Support VM fixture moves and ensure accurate stock organization.
- Review non-sellable stock and coordinate next steps with Sales Managers.
- Stock & Inventory
- Assist with stock takes, cycle counts, and markdown activities.
- Investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate reticketing and optimize stockroom capacity.
- Budget & Cost Management
- Monitor packaging and stationery usage, avoiding over-ordering.
- Promote sustainable practices and energy-saving measures.
