Delivery Manager - Public Sector

We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a major public sector digital transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract.
You'll be working within a multidisciplinary digital team, helping to drive the successful delivery of complex digital products and services. You'll lead Agile delivery, remove blockers, manage risks and dependencies, and create an environment that enables teams to deliver effectively.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience as a Delivery Manager within digital transformation programmes
- Previous government or public sector experience
- Excellent knowledge of Agile delivery
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery plans
- Confidence working within complex, fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of GDS standards and digital service delivery would be highly advantageous
The role is predominantly remote, with travel to Manchester approximately 2 days per month.
This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35, with the day rate negotiable depending on experience.
