Harvey Nash's client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Engineers, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and wider project teams
- Review and manage upstream and downstream contracts, identifying risks and negotiating favourable terms
- Lead commercial delivery across projects
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure effective cost control and commercial performance
- Support monthly project review processes, identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies
- Deliver accurate commercial reporting across individual projects and the wider portfolio
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities alongside finance and operational teams
- Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3 Option A contracts
- Demonstrated expertise in cost control, financial management, and commercial governance
- Experience supporting or leading dispute resolution processes
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead on commercial strategy within complex project environments
