UI Developer/ Frontend Software Engineer

Team: Messenger Web Communications (React-based development)

Reporting to: Directly to team lead

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the Messenger Web Communications team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining core messaging features for Messenger on the web. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop features for Messenger on web using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Lead end-to-end feature development, from design to deployment.
• Ensure the web experience is high-performance, scalable, and accessible.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and implement solutions.
• Identify and resolve issues to improve the development process and product performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in UI development with React, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven ability to build large-scale web applications.
• Strong background in JavaScript and front-end performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React and building reusable, high-performance UI components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
